THE ELIZABETH JOHNSON WALKER LIBRARY
The Walker Library, dedicated in memory of founding member Elizabeth Walker, contains hundreds of titles, ranging from popular fiction, religious fiction and non-fiction, biblical commentaries for study, and periodicals, such as The Living Church and Episcopal Life. The library also offers a CD collection of courses from The Teaching Company, that include lectures on Jesus and the Gospels and C.S. Lewis.
Longtime member Katharine Cummings, the daughter of Elizabeth Walker, donated a portion of her mother’s bequest to our small library in 1976.
Anyone searching for particular titles or reference books can browse our card catalogue online to discover the many treasures hidden in our library. The library also serves as a location to study in quiet or hold a meeting.
